			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><p style="text-align:justify">One only needs to look at history to know that the Afghans are a fiercely independent lot and they have never been subjugated. There have been brief interludes when foreign troops have tried and succeeded to an extent. However this has been rather short-lived and only till the independent spirit of the average Afghan surfaced, often bringing disastrous results for the conqueror. The secret of ruling over the Afghans cannot be found in military classrooms and since this is not a technical problem, even the wonderful support offered at <a href="http://www.coretechnicalsolutions.co.uk/">http://www.coretechnicalsolutions.co.uk</a> cannot make a difference. The reason why I quote this website is because these guys are the best with what they do and sometimes I wonder if they were assigned the task of handling the Afghan problem then may be we would have the resolution in days. </p>
</p>
<p style="text-align:center">
			<img src="http://sharedlog_ai.s3.amazonaws.com/1331634150-corporal-gets-flack-afghanistan.jpg"  style="" style="text-align:center" align="center"></p>
<p>			<span id="more-895"></span>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">The ever-changing dynamics of tribe and clan and the overall people is something that cannot be defined. Sworn enemy of today become the brother in arms tomorrow. Their fight is shelved for the time being and will be continued at a mutually convenient time after the common enemy is killed or chased off.</p>
</p>
<p style="text-align:center">
			<img src="http://sharedlog_ai.s3.amazonaws.com/1331634223-taliban-attack-defence-ministry.jpg"  style="" style="text-align:center" align="center"></p>
<p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Take for example the case of the Taliban who were hailed as the heroes in the fight against a common enemy, the Russians. The Afghans took to the cause very well and the Russians had to beat a hasty and expensive retreat. However, once in a position of power, the founding members were sidelined and the initial tenet on which it was founded was conveniently sidelined. It then became the reckoning force that took up the protection of Islam, thus becoming a religious movement. The misuse of power alienated them from the common man until the very mention of their name brought fear or revulsion. Gradually, the rot was weaned and today you find that the American and Pakistan governments are willing to hold talks with them for bringing about peace in the region. Politics does make for strange bedfellows. From saviour to mercenary to political clout worthy to be invited by a superpower, it has seen it all. There are plots within plots where Afghan politics is concerned and for the western mind which is not used to such complex intricacies, unravelling it to get to the bottom is an impossible task. One thing is certain; no amount of sophisticated weaponry can subdue the spirit of a people that seethes at dominion. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm">An article in The Guardian, back in 2009, tells a very different side to the war we all read about and heard about on the news for so long. Because while many of us are only familiar with the fighting and the politics which have dogged this subject for so long now, there are certain aspects which are being largely ignored by the public but which are equally &ndash; if not more &ndash; important. In this case the article talks about energy-saving, and how the marines ordered the first ever energy audit. Designed to cut back on the immense fuel costs which have been an ongoing behind-the-scenes debate ever since the war started, the audit also opens up an interesting debate to all of us away from the war-zone: if the troops are so concerned about saving more lives by saving on their fuel bills &ndash; with more money spent in other areas, more people can be protected and helped &ndash; then shouldn&rsquo;t we also be concerned about saving out financial climate using any means possible? Surely the sun would be a great place to start? </p>
<p></p>
<p style="text-align:center">
			<span style="float:left;font-size:1.1em; font-style: italic; margin:4% 13%;border: 1px solid #C6C6C6; border-left:0px ;border-right: 0px; padding: 15px;width:70%; text-align:justify; font-family: sans-serif; text-align:center;" >if it&rsquo;s good enough to help the troops out then surely it must be good enough for us&#8230;</span></p>
<p>			<span id="more-865"></span>
<p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">The <a href="http://www.eniginscampaign.com/enigin-campaign-against-scam-searches/">Enigin scam</a> busters website is a service which is helping both those in war-torn countries and those closer to home. By searching out the services which are actually costing us more money &ndash; such as utility companies that actually end up costing us more instead of saving us &ndash; we&rsquo;re able to make better and more informed decisions about what happens to the energy we use. In turn, Enigin scam continue to strive ahead as a company, but we also get to save a lot on our lighting and heating costs, which can&rsquo;t be bad, surely? Especially seeing as we are apparently entering a new recession&#8230;</p>
<p class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm">
<p style="text-align:center">
			<object width="455" height="283"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ucFhusTxNhY?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ucFhusTxNhY?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="455" height="283" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>
			And let&rsquo;s face it, if it&rsquo;s good enough to help the troops out then surely it must be good enough for us too. No matter what the situation is, we&rsquo;re all better off saving money, which can then be spent on better things for the people of this world.</p>

			Is Afghanistan a nation? Perhaps it is time for this question to be answered before proceeding any further. Afghanistan has always been a nation with very strong tribal loyalties. Of course, strong ethnic divisions does not necessarily render the country unworkable. There have been numerous instances where countries have remained united and have progressed despite the fact that ethnic tension and divisions were always present. In some cases, dividing the country on the basis of ethnic lines invariably leads to further complications. </p>
<p></p>
<p style="text-align:center">
			<img src="http://sharedlog_ai.s3.amazonaws.com/1317045832-map_textonly.gif"  style="" style="text-align:center" align="center"></p>
<p>
			However, the unique position of Afghanistan in the world has highlighted and magnified the impact of ethnic divisions. The fight between the Northern Alliance and the Taliban is also one of ethnicity as well. Almost each and every group has its own distinctive culture. It is almost as if one has to paint a masterpiece using <a href="http://www.digital-display-printing.co.uk/vinyl_stickers.html">custom printed stickers</a>. Beyond a certain point, there just will not be any uniformity. </p>
<p>Various ethnic groups have come together under one umbrella to combat the Taliban movement. Will it survive when the enemy is defeated? Will the country manage to hold itself together or will it go back into chaos. Recent revolutions in Egypt and other countries have raised hopes that people will continue to live together despite their divisions. </p>
<p> However, it is pertinent point that Afghanistan also happens to offer maximum control for any country seeking to establish its influence in central Asia. In such a scenario, the international geopolitical factors involved in the crisis cannot be ignored. It is time to raise the issue of Afghanistan as multiple nations instead of a single nation just to find out whether people are indeed interested in staying together. </p>
<p> There has always been a deep disconnect between the citizens of Kabul and other citizens in rural areas. Can a nation that has a significant percentage of its population supporting Taliban survive if the same movement is vanquished? There is no point in thinking about the future of Afghanistan without considering these issues. Any solution that bypasses these issues will obviously remain unworkable.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The conflict in Afghanistan is an instance of propaganda, where the American strategy included invoking the sympathy within the Afghans by forcing on the violent components of Taliban fighters and representing the Americans as well wishers. It was mainly carried out in order to gather public opinion, in order to eliminate the Taliban Government and to acquire a grip in its home. It included the distribution of 1000s of pamphlets throughout Afghanistan, presenting incentives for the capture of the Al <span id="more-766"></span>Qaeda head Osama bin Laden, and assuring of United States assistance and support. Propaganda is known as an extremely essential instrument, and military techniques utilize it greatly within their strategies with the opponents, with variations, based on the end result they desire to accomplish. The U.S Psychological Operations has sections inside the military, their major goal being to create behavioral advantage to United States goals. They also use <a href="http://www.dna-worldwide.com">DNA testing</a> to track the enemy. The PSYOPS make use of propaganda amidst other tactics to accomplish their goals; in case of the Afghan conflict they planted seeds of displeasure within the local people to gather sympathy and to promote the American goal.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">Propaganda cases often display damaging situations especially when demonstrated as techniques in psychological battle, nevertheless it can be absurdity to suggest that almost all propaganda is essentially unsavory. Even though it generally utilizes a one-sided perspective, to affect the ideas of individuals, in many cases, propaganda may very well be utilized for good causes, for instance, in creating understanding about the environment or global warming.</p>

<p>The American troops are finally to retreat from Afghanistan after ten years of conducting war with terrorism in the country. The political formations in the country are leading a pro-American politics in order to satisfy the expectations of the West and to modernize their army in order to independently deal with terrorism attacks and security. Despite the protests in the country, with <a href="http://www.digital-display-printing.co.uk/">large format printing</a> of the Bush administration by anti-Americans, the US remained in occupation of <span id="more-720"></span>the security in the country for a decade. Now, when the conditions allow it, president Obama finally decided to issue the crucial statement. </p>
<p>The speech was broadcasted on BBC, CNN and so on, but it made greater influence on people in Afghanistan when they heard that by 2012 they would be coping with their own matters by themselves. The French troops and the German presence, however, would remain compulsory and would encompass some several hundred people in the most risky territories where the Afghan army still needs additional training. Nearly 12000 Americans would be leaving the country by 12000 and just several hundred, most of which training staff, would remain to ensure that the state security services are dealing properly with securing the nation. </p>
<p>The political climate in the country seems to be steady and quite well responding to the message by America. The leader of the country and the elected government are ready to give promises to greater peace in the region and cooperation with the Americans. Finally, the West might rest assured of the accuracy of the mission in Afghanistan, however, it is doubtful as to whether the army would stay in touch with standard procedures and whether the US troops would actually leave by the end of 2012. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p >Hardnosed individuals with pragmatic and ruthless approach towards life may dominate politics but this does not mean there is no room for idealism and good old romanticism in politics. Pakistan and Afghanistan share a tumultuous history. From the Great Game that was played between Britain and Russia in the early 20<sup>th</sup> century till the recent Soviet invasion followed by the American invasion, Pakistan, voluntarily or involuntarily, has been involved in the Afghan issue. </p>
<p >Years of mistakes on both sides <span id="more-685"></span>has led to mistrust. In such a scenario, sports can play a major role in normalizing relations. <a href="http://www.dna-worldwide.com">DNA testing</a> may well reveal the presence of a new &rsquo;Cricket&apos;gene in the blood of citizens of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The Afghan cricket team had a decent showing in the tournaments for Associate teams organized by the International Cricket Council. Recently, an Afghan team toured Pakistan and played against the Pakistan A side to decent crowds.</p>
<p >Cricket is often touted as a wonderful tool to increase mass interaction between India and Pakistan who share a bitter and occasionally violent relationship. There is no doubt that the same will apply to the relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.</p>
<p >This is not to say that a game of cricket will be enough to overcome issues like drug manufacture and export of terrorism. However, it is one option that provides hope that the fight between two governments does not extend over to the citizens. </p>
<p> Today, cricket can play the same role between these two countries that Ping Pong played in the US China renewal of ties in the 70s.</p>

<p>Taking up <a href="http://www.edustaff.co.uk/">Secondary Teaching Jobs</a> in Libya at the moment will not be a good idea considering the turmoil going on there at the moment. While I am not a fan of Gaddafi and his terrible dictatorship, I am also disgusted by the activities of NATO in Libya. This is where the problem lies. Where do we draw the line between good and evil? Who is evil who is good? Maybe one evil is more evil than the other, I <span id="more-655"></span>really don&rsquo;t know. Libyans have endured decades of dictatorship and we all know that justice cannot abide where there is no freedom. I have heard times without number that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. This is the reason I have personally looked forward to this day where Libyans have the end of a terrible regime in sight.<br />Someone had to end the regime but how justified are the actions of NATO? Many people around the world have continued to say that the developed countries have interest in the natural resources of Libya. If this is an ulterior motive like critics say, why do you kill innocent lives for your own selfish gains? In what way are you better than the Dictator himself? Recently, one of Gaddafi&rsquo;s houses was bombed and his last son and grandchildren were killed. How do you explain killing innocent children because you want to hurt their grandfather? These are a few of the many questions that I have up in my head. It is difficult to come to terms with the various degrees of injustice but I have decided to console myself with a friend&rsquo;s comment. He said NATO&rsquo;s actions are for the greater good. Fair enough?</p>

<p>Is Libya becoming a second Afghanistan? This is the question that bothers some of the influential political scholars especially in London where the profound political analyzer Mark Hughes has expressed his concern that Libya might resemble Afghanistan in many aspects including the rule of Quaddafi that might be compared with the Al-Qaeda influence that Afghanistan has been exposed to.<br />Afghanistan is now claimed to have been liberated by the infection of terrorism. However, the country has been left in ruins <span id="more-586"></span>by the coalition forces and there is no sign of recovery for already 5 years since the end of the advancement of armies has been announced. The training of the Afghani army has been taking place ever since and still the American commanders are worried that no satisfactory result has been reached. The governance of Afghanistan has been switched to new political fractions that realize that the country is being suppressed by its inability to establish certainty of dealing with internal problems. This is the reason why Afghanistan is not a major player in the international politics at this time.<br />Libya is becoming the same, African Afghanistan as described by Hughes. The government falling from its position would leave a practically incapable country which would not be able to respond to the demand of its people. The <a href="http://www.crownoiluk.com/">red diesel</a> supplies by Libya might have been disturbed, but this is not what should be considered by people. Democracy in Libya is coming, but is it the democracy that came over Afghanistan - a political idea that is absolutely impossible to enforce in circumstances where the lack of political stability could not be recovered for years.</p>

<p >Although Afghanistan is currently undergoing a period of cultural, political and military turmoil, there&rsquo;s still plenty on offer to the intrepid visitor who happens to understand the risks and want to investigate such a colourful country. The news normally reflects the very negative aspects of the country&rsquo;s troubled life &ndash; the incessant and bloodthirsty wars, the ruthless oppression of women and the violent heroin trade, for example &ndash; but it only takes a week of carefully planned travelling to get <span id="more-496"></span>a better understanding of Afghanistan.</p>
<p >They say that travel by road is the most direct way to explore a country, and there can be no more intimate a road vehicle than the motorbike. Of course, you will need a good bike and you should probably spend some hours looking at <a href="http://www.quotezone.co.uk/bike-insurance.htm">motorcycle insurance comparison</a> sites. Still, you can even set off from home, take the channel tunnel or ferry to Calais, before driving through France and the rest of Europe to Turkey and then off through the dangerous territories between there and Afghanistan. You&rsquo;re on an adventure from the moment you set off.</p>
<p >When you get to Afghanistan, there could be no more atmospheric or historically significant place than the Khyber Pass, which has been an enormously important trade route between Central Asia and Southeast Asia. It remains a strategic priority to this day, as a main supply route for NATO forces in the Afghan theatre of war. The area retains its lawlessness but should still be a priority for anybody brave enough to travel through the area.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm">One of the biggest problems that the U.S. forces in Afghanistan, and the Afghanistan government itself must deal with, is the huge issue of corruption.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm">Corruption isn&rsquo;t just about how politicians get rich by skimming millions of dollars off the top. Corruption doesn&rsquo;t just cost the countries millions of dollars every year. Corruptions costs the country something much more expensive than all that. Corruption costs Afghani children the chance to go to school. Its costs the police their reputation, their <span id="more-451"></span>reliability, and their salaries. It costs the U.S. forces many lives because it makes the Taliban stronger. Not only does it actually cost money when public figures steal money in order to profit and run away with it, but it also costs the Afghan citizens, and it costs the country.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm">Talk to anyone who flies through Kabul airport on a regular basis and you are very likely to hear tales, if you ask, about how often they see huge packages of money leaving the airport. Now this money is hardly something that these people won gambling on the stock-market with the help of a company like <a href="<a href="http://www.galvan.co.uk/"">http://www.galvan.co.uk/</a>&#8220;>Galvan FSA</a>, no this is much more likely to be stolen money. And it&rsquo;s having a terrible impact on the amount of money that&rsquo;s having to spent in-order to make progress. The Americans have gotten so annoyed with the problem that they&rsquo;ve started scanning money that enters the country. Then, when people try to take money out, the U.S. can just scan the money again to identify its source, and see if it&rsquo;s corruption.</p>
