Enigin scam…politics, energy-saving and all things good

An article in The Guardian, back in 2009, tells a very different side to the war we all read about and heard about on the news for so long. Because while many of us are only familiar with the fighting and the politics which have dogged this subject for so long now, there are certain aspects which are being largely ignored by the public but which are equally – if not more – important. In this case the article talks about energy-saving, and how the marines ordered the first ever energy audit. Designed to cut back on the immense fuel costs which have been an ongoing behind-the-scenes debate ever since the war started, the audit also opens up an interesting debate to all of us away from the war-zone: if the troops are so concerned about saving more lives by saving on their fuel bills – with more money spent in other areas, more people can be protected and helped – then shouldn’t we also be concerned about saving out financial climate using any means possible? Surely the sun would be a great place to start?

if it’s good enough to help the troops out then surely it must be good enough for us…
